Annual Meeting of the Provincial Grand Conclave of Surrey

This notice is to inform you that our Provincial meeting is normally held towards the end of May. However, I am sure that you are aware that the current restrictions are in place until June 21st 2021. After checking the Provincial by-laws, I have the authority to move the meeting to a different date. I have therefore decided to move the Provincial meeting to Friday July 23rd 2021.

The reason on this occasion, that it is not being held on a Saturday, is because Surbiton Masonic Centre is fully booked up with Weddings in July, August and parts of September. So rather than leaving it too late in the year, I decided to hold our meeting on a Friday. In moving this to July, I believe it will give Brethren more time to feel confident in resuming meetings once again.

During the next few weeks, you will receive a notification from the Provincial Grand Recorder, Wy Bro. Len Hayward, along with a booking form for the attendance and dining. I would encourage all Brethren to attend this meeting if possible, as I feel it will give a good boost to the start of the meetings going forward. This is particularly important to the Provincial Officers and Brethren who have been inducted into the order since our last Provincial meeting in May 2019.

Your early response, on receiving the notification, to the Provincial Grand Recorder concerning your attendance and dining, would be greatly appreciated.

I look forward to starting the meetings once again and getting back to normality in the very near future.
