Surrey Masons in Swiss Conclave

On Saturday 22 September 2012, at 8.30 a.m. – the 1st meeting in a busy Masonic day – followed by a Royal and Select meeting and then by lunch and the Grand Lodge of Mark Master Masons of Switzerland Annual Meeting in the afternoon - the Arc du Leman Conclave No 597 held its Installation meeting in the Hotel Warwick in Geneva.

Its founding light, R. Wy. Bro. Peter Ribi PGG who is Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler designate for London, and three other Surrey Masons were present – R. Wy. Bro. Mik Barnes PProvGSR, Wy. Bro. Louis Keats AGChap and Wy. Bro. Jack Love ProvGV. Bros. Barnes and Keats are Honorary Members of the Conclave as they were Assisting Officers at its Consecration in 2011 where Bro. Love also assisted.

An excellent lunch followed the meeting and many new and old friendships with our Swiss brethren were rekindled, in one case going back 40 years!
