At the regular meeting of the Pride of Surrey Conclave 118, held at Sutton Masonic Hall on Tuesday 14th October, the Brethren welcomed the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, R.Wy. Bro Laurie Young and his Provincial Grand Visitor Leslie Grout.

The Conclave undertook the planned Induction of Bro Steve Jones, as a new candidate, in an efficient and pleasing manner.

This meeting was a little unusual; as the Conclave Supreme Ruler, Wy Bro Peter Dickson, was not able to attend, having been unable to return from Germany. Fortunately the IPSR Wy Bro Simon Polkinghorne stepped back into the Chair to conduct the meeting, ably supported by Wy Bro Andrew Mackay in undertaking the Explanation of the Weapons.

On the completion of normal business, the Conclave was closed in due form and the Brethren retired to enjoy a convivial Festive Board.
