At the regular meeting on the 5th June 2014, the Conclave was honoured by an Official Visit from the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler R.Wy.Bro. Laurie Young, along with his deputy R.Wy.Bro. Lionel Mee PGG. Also in attendance was Wy.Bro. Ivan Thorne ProvGG, as the Provincial Visitor. There were also a large number of Provincial Grand Officers and Members of the Arch of Steel present, in what can only be described as a marathon meeting, which was exceptionally well attended.

Supreme Ruler Wy.Bro. Len Hillier conferred the Princes Degree Ceremony on Bro. Robert Hancock, Bro. Nigel Harding, Bro. Steven Rowlands and Bro. David Thompson, assisted by Wy.Bro. Louis Keats, which was carried out in a satisfactory manner. Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling gave the explanation of the Challenge and the second degree lecture.

Wy.Bro. Louis Keats installed Bro. David Blackburn as Supreme Ruler for the ensuing year in his usual polished manner. R.Wy.Bro.Laurie Young was the Commissioning Officer and he also gave the address to the new Supreme Ruler, Bro. Duncan Bell gave an excellent explanation of the Weapons.

Following the meeting 26 members, visitors and guests enjoyed an excellent Festive Board, where the Supreme Ruler thanked R.Wy.Bro. Laurie Young for attending on an Official basis.

The next meeting of the Conclave will be held on Thursday 4th September 2014.
