The Installation meeting of Waverley Conclave No 381 was held at Godalming on Monday the 31st of January 2022. Present was the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, R.Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling and the Grand Visitor, V.Wy.Bro. Gerald Reilly. Also present was R.Dist.Comp. Arnold Long, Provincial Grand Summus in the Order of the Scarlet Cord, Provincial Grand Senatus of Surrey, and R.W.Bro. John French, District Grand Prefect in the Allied Masonic Degrees, District of Surrey.
The Conclave was opened by the Supreme Ruler, Wy.Bro. Leslie Grout, who welcomed R.Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling, and V.Wy.Bro. Gerald Reilly.
Bro. Norman Woodfin was installed as Supreme Ruler by Wy.Bro. Leslie Grout, assisted by R.Wy.Bro. Mik Barnes, Past Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, who gave Lecture on The Weapons, and R.Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling, Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, who gave the Address to the Supreme Ruler, all in a faultless manner.
The Officers of the Conclave were appointed and those present were invested. R.Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling, congratulated Wy.Bro. Norman and wished him a successful year. Our Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler said how pleased he was to see so many at the meeting.
After the meeting, the members of Waverley Conclave and their guests retired to the bar for refreshments before enjoying a most convivial meal together.
