A meeting of Hill of Zion Conclave No 270 was held at Croydon on Wednesday 26th January. Present was the Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, R.Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling and the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler, Wy.Bro. Paul Fitzgerald. Also present were the Grand Summus in the Order of the Scarlet Cord, M.Dist.Comp. Ian S Currans, and the Provincial Grand Summus, R.Dist.Comp. Arnold Long.
The Conclave was opened by the Supreme Ruler, Wy.Bro. James Smith, who welcomed R.Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling, and the Provincial Grand Visitor, Wy.Bro. Steve Harvey.
The main item on the agenda was Induct Brothers Marxson Collins and Lawson Epko into the Order. Brothers Marxson and Lawson were inducted into the Order by the Supreme Ruler, assisted by R.Wy.Bro. Colin Beerling who gave the Explanation of the Weapons and the Address to the Candidates; all in an excellent manner.
Brothers Marxson and Lawson were welcomed into the Order by our Provincial Grand Supreme Rule.
To end a most enjoyable meeting the Supreme Ruler presented a Supreme Ruler Certificate to Wy.Bro. James Smith; and a Grand Conclave Certificate to Brother Nathanial Decker.
After the Conclave was closed the Brethren of Hill of Zion Conclave and their guests dined together at Croydon Masonic Hall.
