Bro Wally Maynard was installed as Supreme Ruler by Wy. Bro. Steve Harvey assisted by Wy.Bro. Barrie Selway. The Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler gave the Address to the Supreme Ruler and Wy.Bro. Jack Love gave the Lecture on The Weapons - both in an excellent manner. Wy. Bro. Wally appointed and invested the Officers for his year and the remaining business on the Agenda was duly conducted.

To round off a most enjoyable afternoon, the Brethren and their many guests enjoyed a most convivial meal at the Nutfield Masonic Centre.

In his reply to the Provincial Toast the Deputy Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler spoke about our Provincial Grand Supreme Ruler’s chosen charity, Momentum, which supports children and their families from all over Surrey and South West London. Families with children facing cancer or another life-limiting condition know that they there for the whole journey and for the whole family for as long as they need them. Momentum supports the entire family during times of unimaginable strain – the children and their parents, but also siblings and grandparents. We're here to make sure that no family has to cope alone. Momentum was founded in 2004 and the charity has an office in Kingston-upon-Thames, Surrey. At any one time, they support over 150 families.
